The PGA Professional Staff at Sand Valley is available and eager to fine tune your game during your visit. Our professionals can introduce a variety of unique shots into your bag that will best help you navigate Sand Valley. We offer a number of lesson types ranging from private lessons to custom group clinics.

Private golf lessons are available and should be scheduled prior to arrival. Instruction takes place at the Practice Center featuring a full grass range with targets from 60 to 275 yards and two practice chipping and putting greens featuring bunkers, slopes and various lies you can expect on our courses. Our professionals are well trained to work with beginner, junior, female, male, intermediate and scratch players. Inquire about FlightScope lessons, where you and a pro will use doppler radar technology to dial in carry distance, ball speed, club path and much more.
Group clinics are a great way to gather with your friends, family or coworkers and master the game together as one! Our professionals accommodate groups of all ages and sizes, from small, intimate settings to large scale games and drill.
16 players or less: $40/player/hour
17 - 24 players: $35/player/hour
25 - 40 players: $30/player/hour

On-course playing lessons are another great form of instruction at Sand Valley. With the unique playing conditions of our golf courses, learning the lay of the land and visualizing different shots can be the most effective way to lower your scores during your stay. Adapting your game to fit a links style golf course requires a variety of chip shots including the high flop, the bump and run and everything in between. There is no better place to practice these shots than in a live-action environment with one of our professionals by your side.

Develop a new appreciation for the history of golf and how the game was first played. Learn the perfect blend of rhythm, balance, and feel. Take your knowledge to the course with your own clubs or try one of our hickory rental sets.
